Shields can be bought in home page. They have the ability to block attacks (not all attacks and the damage received depends on the player's defense points) while the player holding 's' 'down arrow' or 'down' key. Shields can give players extra skill points similar to other cosmetic and weapons which can be useful for low level players. Shields are useful in PvP as players can use shields to block sword attacks and reduce tons of damage. There are also some techniques using shields against mobs such as the timing to attack after blocking.
