Diamonds

Diamonds, also known as gems, are the highest currency in Gobattle.io. They can be used to buy skill points (to improve stats) and character customizations (wings, swords, shields, etc.), which give the player the upgrades of their choice. Diamonds can also be used to repair Ultrarares, which costs 1 diamond. There are many ways to obtain diamonds.

Chests

In the GoBattle map, there are now up to 20 dungeons where you can obtain gems. At the end of every dungeon, you will find a chest or two. Break open a chest and you will receive 1-3 diamonds (1 extra if you are lucky). From these chests, you will also always receive an extra power-up, like a potion. In addition, boss dungeons can give you more diamonds, both directly through gaining experience (leveling up) by beating the boss, and through chests at the end. For example, the chests you receive after defeating Gorgkin the Ogre contain a total of four gems.

Be aware: you have to wait for some time (1hour) after finishing a dungeon before doing it again, or you won't get any more diamonds.

Leveling Up

Each time you level up, you gain 1 diamond. To gain levels, you can farm mobs, such as Archers, Green dragons, or Bosses. For example, you can farm Dragons, the 3rd most common mob in dungeons (the 2 others being rats and bats). Almost every dungeon has at least one dragon in it.

You could also get 5 gems from levelling up if you are level ten or below after an update recently.

Drop from Mobs

The hardest way to get gems is from mobs. Very rarely, Bats, Dragonet, venom plants and spiders drop diamonds, but the gem dropped can easily be taken by another player, so try to grab it fast. To increase the chances of such a drop happening, you can increase your luck (via potions or buying points in skills and inventory). With each luck point, the chance of a diamond being dropped is increased by 1 percent. The maximum luck points you can have is +20, like all other skill points.

Defeating Bosses

After defeating Asterion, the player receives diamonds.

Bosses, like Asterion for example, give the player diamonds after being defeated. The number of diamonds you receive depends on the amount of people in your party (those fighting the boss) and which boss you are fighting. No matter if you are the player who dealt the final blow, all participating boss-fighters will get gems. Also seasonal boss drop 5 diamonds instead of giving players directly.

Be aware: you have to wait for 1 hour after beating a boss before doing it again, or you won't get any more diamonds.

From Tournament

The tournament is a PvP battle, available to play at Valdoran castle. It will cost you 2 diamonds to participate, but if you win, you'll receive 8 diamonds. This is not advised for new players, with their level between 1 and 75, as elites usually do this kind of game mode, their level averaging roughly 200-500.

From King Reputation

You will get 150 diamonds if you become the king of Valdoran if you have the most king reputation for a week.

Buy using Gold Coins

You can use coins to buy diamonds, but we wouldn’t recommend it because it costs 100,000 coins and you can only get one diamond.

Buy using Money

You can also buy diamonds using real life money.

There are four offers:

20 diamonds for $0.99, 70 for $2.99, 200 for $7.99, and 700 for $19.99.

Many players like to buy diamonds and get the best items at practically level 1. What they don’t realize is that it is really easy to get diamonds, and only takes about 33 days to get wings if you earn 15 diamonds a day. What’s the fun in becoming maxed out immediately?

Earning BP

Once you get 150 BP (battle points) in king mode, you get a diamond.

Finish quests or talking to NPC

You can also earn diamonds by finishing quests or talking to NPC. However, they usually only give 1-2 diamonds.

By exchanging with dyam crystals

Players can exchange 100 dyam crystals for 1 diamond.

Dyam crystals can be obtained by completing quests inside the Adventurer’s Home.
