Bats are flying creatures that follow and attack players. They can be found almost everywhere throughout the game. Often, bats will spawn and swarm around a player. It is recommended to use your sword to fight bats, but another option is the double-axe, which when upgraded (by obtaining 40 coins) can clear out swarms of bats both in front of and behind the player or just buy bat-pendent for 150 gems in shop. They fly around until they see a player. They can also fly through objects.
Bats have 50 hp at level 1 and deal 30 damage to a player who has 0 defense skill, but can be further lowered by buying defense points. Bats drop 2 coins when killed. There are 4 types of bats: Bats, Female Bats, Cemetry Bats, and Batsidians.
If you put on a bat repellent, bats won't be able to see you, so they won't attack you. It gives you 0 King Rep. when they're killed.
